This training program provides assessment personnel with the necessary skills to perform the facility self assessment. Following the training, sites are able to perform the annual self assessments to identify non-compliances within the facility's operational processes.  This process will help them meet the second principle of the NOVA Responsible Care policy: “Operate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and to the higher of NOVA Chemicals or local health, safety and environmental standards.”

 

 

From the main menu, learners can select a module or access tools such as help, a glossary, or an index that provides a method for quickly browsing topics in the course.

 

 

On this screen, learners can select an INFO button for more information about the content.

 

 

The key audience for this program are the operations personnel who conduct the facility self assessments.  However, the program is also used for personnel involved in other parts of the process.

 

 

In this fun interaction, learners are asked to decipher the meaning of these very wordy sentences.
